
Carol is an associate in KMFY’s civil litigation group. Carol has a wide range experience in business litigation including real estate, contract, shareholder, construction, and employment and labor cases. She has experience representing clients in both state and federal court. In past litigation, Carol conducted extensive civil discovery, attended hearings and mediations, and engaged in settlement negotiations.
Prior to joining KMFY, Carol worked as an associate attorney at Lane Alton, a Columbus-based business law firm, where she gained a broad spectrum of business litigation experience. Besides working on ligation matters, Carol represented clients in real estate transactions including reviewing and preparing documents such as purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, mortgages, deeds, amendments, and other ancillary agreements. Carol also represented commercial banks regarding secured lending activities including drafting transactional documents, conducting due diligence, and representing the clients in related litigation and bankruptcy proceedings.
Carol received her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law after graduating from a top law school in China and remains licensed to practice in China. She is fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese.
